펀드매니저 턴오버와 펀드의 투자성과

본 연구는 펀드매니저의 턴오버와 투자관련 의사결정 및 투자성과 간의 관계를 이론적으로 분석한다. 본 연구는 자산운용 전문인력 노동시장의 펀드매니저 고용과정 에 서 분리균형이 성립하기 힘든 현실적 상황을 반영하여 자산운용사가 펀드매니저의 평판에 근거하여 제시하는 공동보상계약을 이 론적으로 분석한다. 또한， 본 연구는 이와 같은 공동보상계약의 메커니즘 하에서 펀드매니저가 체계적 위험과 부합되지 않는 투자 포트폴리오를 유지하고 다른 자산운용사로 턴오배하여 평판을 유치하여 사적이득을 취하려는 경제적 유인과 행위를 이론화한다. 펀드매니저의 턴오버는 펀드매니저 의 유형에 대한 비대칭정보 하에서 발생할 수 있는 역선택의 한 측면으로 능력이 낮은 펀드매니저가 손실 이 예상되는 투자 포트폴리오를 변경하지 않고 평판을 유지하는 뚫因과 機制를 제공하여 펀도의 투자성과를 감소시킴을 분석한다.

Fund Manager Turnover and Investment Performances in Fund Industry

This study examines the relationship between fund manager turnover and investment performance for mutual funds. This issue is significant given the importance of fund manager in the implementation of the investment str ategy of funds, the sizeable assets under their control, as well as the overall success and profitability of the fund operation. This study examines the impact of fund managers investment performance and turnover on expected return on investment. In doing so, this study models that fund managers of low ability maintain failed investment and turnover while generating losses on fund investment.
